应中国石油大学油气渗流研究中心的邀请,壳牌(Shell)亚太研发中心主任景旭东一行4人来校进行项目合作与学术交流。届时,将在石油工程学院学术会议室进行学术报告,希望广大师生踊跃参加。

主讲人简介:
Axel Makurat: Since 2006 Axel Makurat is the manager for Rock and Fluid Physics at Shell in Rijswijk, The Netherlands. As such he is responsible for the sub-surface experimental research in Shell Europe. Before joining Shell in 2001 he was the director for Petroleum Geomechanics and Rock Engineering at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute in Oslo, Norway. Currently he is also a member of the steering committee for the oil research funded by the Norwegian Research Council and a member of the Petroleum Geomechanics Commission of the International Society of Rock Mechanics. He has background in geology and rock mechanics and is the (co-)author of more than 60 publications.
Holger Ott: Holger holds a PhD in physics (solid state physics). Since 2006, he has been working in Shell in Rijswijk, The Netherlands as a senior research scientist. Currently he is the project leader of experimental research for CO2 sequestration, contaminated gas and unconventional gas. Holger also serves as an honorary reader at Imperial College London, UK since 2011.
